This is the world’s debut, pure gold, diamond-shaped coin and features a 0.2-carat diamond embedded on one of the coin’s engraved facets. Getting the right shape, size, and angles was an arduous undertaking and meant that this unique collector’s piece was more than a year in the making. The Mint’s R&D team overcame many challenges to flawlessly strike this dramatically contoured coin and produce a luxury collectable that is also a unique engineering feat.
